| I started our kennel of Labradors
in the 70's with two black bitches FIN CH Susanset Inez and Susanset
Jokeriina. The present stock, however, is based on the British imported
bitches of which the two first were yellows Heatherbourne Partypiece
(born -78 by GB SH CH Poolstead Problem - GB SH CH Heatherbourne Top
Tune) and FIN CH Balrion Witching Hour (born -82 by GB
SH CH Bradking Kassidy - GB SH CH Balrion Wicked Lady). Very succesfull
littermates from these lines were FIN CH Follies Uriah Heep,
FIN CH Follies Ursula Andress and Follies Up To Date (3 CC's) born -86
by
Pastime's Timebomb - Follies Milk and Honey. One of the absolutely top
winning males in the 90's was the yellow INT & FIN CH Follies Cutty
Sark
(born -89 by Wetherlam Mace - Follies Viscountess), a Witching Hour
great-grandson.
He had several BIS and BOS wins at the biggest breed speciality shows
under
famous breed specialist judges. From 1991 my daughter Anna-Liisa has been officially co-owner of our kennel, she has shown our dogs at shows from her childhood and helped in many other ways. Our present star INT, FIN & EST CH, NordW-01 W-01-02 Follies Storm Petrel (yellow born -98 by FIN CH Brookhill's Daddy's Hope - Follies Olympia) is grandson of Cutty Sark. He has had some really thrilling wins at shows. In the 90's we have imported Balnova Blushing Bride (yellow born -90 by GB SH CH Sandylands Royal Escort - Balnova Blossom at Ryedown) and the black Balnova Fragrant Bloom (born -96 by Brightwalton Born A Star - Balnova Just For Luck) both from UK, Sheila and Keith Wallington. Now that a couple of years have
passed we can see, that it was worth keeping our fingers crossed for
the litter D&VDH
SH Tweedledum Crispy Duck - Follies Wood Lark as three of the puppies
have
made a very good career: Our own FIN CH F. I Love Lucy has fulfilled
our
hopes in many ways as she has had some really good wins at shows e.g.
winning
Lab Club's Speciality Show BIS in February -04 under Les Brabban,
Cambremer.
In October -04 she got her first litter by MULTI CH Golden Eagle over
Rocheby
and now it's time to keep fingers crossed for F. Rusticana and her
brother
F. Rara Avis.
From the same litter as Lucy came
also RUS&BLR&EST CH F. Imperial Eagle, who has won also in
Finland, being BIS at Lab. Club's Main Specialityshow in May -04 with
CC and winning Best Male and BOS at Lab. Club's Club Show in August
-04. The Choc. bitch from the same litter F. Instant Coffee has had
some very good wins in her new home
in Czech Republic.
FIN CH Rosanan Ice Follies was
made up with great style when she won BIS at Lab.Club's Main Speciality
show in February -05. Her son F. No Kidding won Junior Class at the
same show. He is by Cricklecreek Cruising Along.
Tweedledum Folies Bergerer has
got her
3 CC's in Finland + one CC in Estonia. Her first litter by MULTI CH
Rocheby Smokescreen was born in June -04 and F. Opera Comique from that
litter won in her turn Lab. Club's Puppy & Veteran Show BIS Puppy
in October -04. Also her brother and sister did well at the same show
F. Onomatopoetic winning his class and F. Odessa being 3rd.
From the sisters FIN CH Follies
Annabella and FIN CH F. Allie we have a choc. dog F. Lens Louse (by
Mallorn's Toblerone) with one CC at his credit and a black bitch bred
by Saskian kennel. We also took in a black bitch, Cayenne, from a
choc. bitch Bubbling Marionette (by CH Cambremer Tom Cobbley of
Charway) who was mated to our FIN CH F. Rule Of Thumb. That bitch has
been shown twice so far and has won her classes on
both occasions.
